Questions you've been afraid to ask.
If something else is on your mind, we'll cover it during your evaluation.
What if I don't actually have ADHD?
That's still a valuable answer. We rule out other causes — anxiety, sleep disorders, thyroid issues, depression — so you walk away with clarity either way. A diagnosis isn't the only goal; understanding yourself is.
Will I be pressured into medication?
Never. Medication is one option among many. Behavioral strategies, executive function coaching, lifestyle changes, and therapy are equally part of the conversation. You stay in control of your treatment plan.
Aren't I too old to be diagnosed?
No. The majority of our patients are diagnosed in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond. ADHD doesn't appear in adulthood — but it often goes unrecognized for decades, especially in women and high-achievers. It's never too late to understand yourself.
How much does it cost?
The screener is free. ADHD Telemed is a membership practice. Adult care is billed monthly at $149 and you can cancel any time: your first cycle covers the initial evaluation and includes 45 minutes of visit time, and each cycle after goes toward a follow-up visit or a medication management check, whichever you need. Child and teen evaluations are $545 up front, then $189 a month — that first fee covers an extensive history retrieval process and the formal testing a proper child evaluation requires. Every membership includes direct 24/7 access to your own physician, who works through your issues himself with his medical team behind him — not a call center, not a triage line, not a message answered in three business days. It is concierge-level access without concierge-level pricing. Phone check-ins and messaging are included, so any issue is one text or one call away. For a medical emergency, call 911. HSA/FSA cards are accepted, and we provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. See full pricing on our insurance and pricing page.
Is this telehealth or in-person?
Telehealth, via secure video. Research shows it's just as accurate as in-person visits for ADHD assessment. We currently see patients in Florida, Georgia, Colorado, Virginia, Texas, Minnesota, Michigan, and California.
