This Privacy Policy explains how ADHD Telemed, LLC ("ADHD Telemed," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use adhdtelemed.com and our telehealth services. How we use and disclose your protected health information (PHI) is described in full in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

4. How we protect your information

PHI is stored and transmitted using HIPAA-compliant systems, encrypted in transit and at rest. Vendors that handle PHI on our behalf, such as our scheduling and telehealth platforms, do so under a signed Business Associate Agreement. Access is limited to the clinicians and staff who need it.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal or health information. We share PHI only as permitted by HIPAA and applicable state law, for example:

  • With pharmacies, laboratories, and other clinicians involved in your care

  • With your written authorization (for example, sending a report to your school or employer)
  • When required by law, including state prescription monitoring programs, public health reporting, or valid legal process

ADHD Telemed is a direct-pay practice and does not bill insurance. We share information with your insurer only if you ask us to.

6. Email and text messages

We may send appointment confirmations and reminders by email or text. These messages may reveal that you have an appointment with us. Please do not send detailed medical or medication information by regular text or email; use your visit or the secure channels we provide.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies needed for the site to function. We do not use third-party advertising pixels or tracking technologies on pages where you enter health information, and we do not share health information with advertising platforms.

8. Your rights

Under HIPAA and applicable state law, you may request access to your records, request corrections, request restrictions or confidential communications, receive an accounting of certain disclosures, and file a complaint with us or with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. We will not retaliate against you for filing a complaint. See our Notice of Privacy Practices for details.
